Udayam Charitable Trust was registered in July 1997, (under the Indian Trust Act - 1882) and has also been registered under FCRA and PwD Act 1995. It has also 12 AA, and 80G, registrations. Three Special schools are being run for the Intellectually Challenged and Autism students. Have been working for 18 years among the differently abled persons in the Dindigul and Theni districts.

Udayam Charitable Trust works to create a positive and enduring change in the lives of children, families, and communities living in abject poverty and undue inequality. Irrespective of religion, caste, creed, race, ethnicity, or gender, UCT extends a helping hand to anyone and everyone who deserves it. With a wide network spanning 10 locations in India, UCT lends help through long-term sustainable community programs and immediate disaster relief assistance.

Our main focus area of intervention is to provide, Early intervention, Special and Inclusive Education, Multimodal Therapy, Medical Referrals, Vocational training, and Livelihood Promotions. Adopting Research, Training, and Education strategies in all our program interventions which help us to provide meaningful service with suitable corrective solutions through a holistic development approach with community participation.

Centre caters services for Persons with Intellectual Disability, Down syndrome, Cerebral palsy, Autism, and Multiple disabilities.

Share technical expertise with other NGOs and aspiring individuals to improve the quality of services for PWD across the sector. Adopt best practices of governance and implementation of services. Develop human resources by running Rehabilitation Council of India-approved courses. Research and studies in the field of disability.
